Calling ambitious young jazz bands from Czechia and Poland!
Are you ready to take your music to the international stage? Apply now for the Central European Jazz Showcase 2025!
The showcase is open to jazz bands of any line-up, formed no later than 2023. Most of the band members must be under 35 years old and have Czech or Polish nationality, or long-term residence in one of these countries.

The showcase will take place at the Goose On a String Theatre in Brno, Czech Republic, on June 23-24, 2025. Four Czech and four Polish bands, selected anonymously by the jury, will perform 20-minute sets for an audience that includes both the general public and invited European delegates from major jazz festivals, agencies, clubs, and media. The delegates will select one winner from each country.
This is your chance to gain valuable experience, expand your network, and receive feedback from delegates – European jazz professionals. Two winning bands will be invited to perform at JazzFestBrno and at Opus Jazz Budapest.
Travel, hotel, per diems, sound, and basic backline will be covered by the organizer.
Jury
On April 30, eight bands selected by the jury will be announced to perform live on June 23-24, 2025 in Brno, CZ.
